Events – I’ve found our current system of managing building & maintaining performer websites is too complex & cumbersome to scale to anything beyond a few sites for friends.
Instead, before proceeding beyond our current 2 sites, we need to build an app (either in Laravel or WordPress) that allows me (with a team of remote contractors) to build & maintain WordPress websites for a significant number of performers.

NOTE: I’m writing this in the hope we can find an alternative to Skype that offers the features & functionality we need to operate our teams of remote contactors. I’m not actually planning to modify Skype – it’s just a thinking tool to help define & describe what we need for remote team communication & collaboration.
Is it time to give up on Skype?
Given there are better tools that do what Skype did so much better without any hiccups and constant annoying changes, is it time to give up on Skype? Is it worth all the trouble Microsoft puts us through?
